Lost Soul

The daylight turns to darkness.
The clouds, they roll away.
The moon shines bright in a cold night sky.
Still she sits in the valley to pray.

Her eyes look up in wonder.
Her heart is cold with fear.
Of an unknown fate and destiny.
Of a God she cannot hear.

She prays into the darkness.
She hopes to hear a sound.
From a God she cannot fathom.
In a place that can't be found.

Without understanding,
She cannot leave her place.
She prays into the cold night sky,
As the tears roll down her face.
